Premier League outfits set to confirm their £8.5m deal for Chelsea flop Gokhan Tore.
The Turkey international was signed by the Blues in 2009 but failed to make a first-team appearance before he was sold to Hamburger two years later.
He new plays for Besiktas in his home country and has scored 19 goals in 105 appearances for the club.
Reports suggest that West Ham have reached an agreement to sign the 24-year-old winger when the transfer window reopens.
Outlet Takvim say Besiktas have accepted an £8.5m offer from the Hammers.
It is understood that Tore is a favourite of boss Slaven Bilic and the deal looks set to go through ahead of a busy summer for the Hammers.
Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked with Tore in the past.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are considering an offer for Serie A giants Roma centre-back Kostas Manolas as they step up their search for club captain John Terry’s replacement.
Since transferring from Olympiacos in August 2014 for an estimated €15 million, the Greek international has been a standout figure in the Giallorossi defence and has caught the eye of the West London club.
The Roman club have already turned down an offer of €33M for the 24-year-old and have informed their English counterparts that they would be willing to negotiate if they receive an offer in the region of €44M, according to The Sun,
It isn’t the first time the former AEK Athens man has been the target of Premier League interest, with Roma initially beating Arsenal to his signature in 2014.
Both David Moyes and Jose Mourinho were also believed to have scouted the Greek defender during their respective coaching reigns at Manchester United and Chelsea.
However, with Manolas providing a strong figure at the back during his team’s current eight match winning streak in Serie A, the Giallorossi will not be convinced to let their key defensive asset go for anything less than their asking price.
