Antonio Conte’s first act as Chelsea manager forces Diego Costa to join PSG in the summer

Earlier in the day Chelsea confirmed Antonio Conte as their next manager and speculations have already increased about the in-comings and outgoings at Stamford Bridge later in the summer.

One player who tops Conte’s exit list is striker Diego Costa. According to Telefoot, Conte is a no-nonsense manager who does not like trouble making players in his squad.

Wherever he has managed be it Juventus or currently with Italian national team, squad’s harmony has been a feature of his management. However, Conte sees Costa as the bad seed and wants him out of the club before he arrives.

Citing those very concerns France Football and The Sun have reported a story which tells us about how Diego Costa has been offered to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain for a summer move. According to The Sun, super-agent Jorge Mendes has personally spoken to PSG and assured them of Costa’s availability at the end of current season.

PSG are contemplating bringing new strikers after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s decision to leave the club while Edinson Cavani is looking for other options as well. Despite being linked with Eden Hazard and Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Costa could prove to be the most realistic and economical signing for the French Champions.

Another probable destination for Costa remains his former club Atletico Madrid where Diego Simeone is keen to bring back his former striker to Vicente Calderon. Whether Costa joins PSG or returns to Atletico, one thing is for sure, he seems certain to quit Chelsea following the arrival of Antonio Conte.
