While some are still fresh and exciting, quite a few have already become quite tiresome, and Radja Nainggolan to Premier league side, Chelsea is one of them.
The Belgian midfielder is said to be high on Antonio Conte’s wishlist for next season, and reports of a meeting which was quickly dismissed by both parties emerged.
Neither club has spoken out about the potential deal, and recent reports suggest talks have stalled, mostly over a disagreement in player valuation. Roma are said to be asking for £31.5m for their star midfielder whereas Chelsea feel £23.7m is more than enough for his services.
This goes a long way in indicating that the player is not exactly thrilled at the prospects of joining a side lacking Champions League football. As a contrast, Roma are currently fighting Napoli for second spot in Serie A, with participation in the elite European competition already guaranteed through the play-offs at least.
