Liverpool target Thibaut Courtois sends a message to Chelsea supporters amid uncertain future
Thibaut Courtois has appeared to confirm that his future lies at Chelsea despite recent speculation linking the goalkeeper with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The Belgium international has endured a difficult season like the rest of his Blues team-mates and Courtois has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Liverpool and La Liga giants Real Madrid in recent weeks.
Courtois returned to Guus Hiddink’s side for their final home game of the season against newly-crowned Premier League champions Leicester City on Sunday afternoon as the Blues drew 1-1 with the Foxes.
And the Belgian shot stopper sent a message to the Chelsea supporters following their stalemate with Claudio Ranieri’s side at Stamford Bridge which seemed to suggest that he would be staying in west London.
Courtois posted the above photo and wrote on his Instagram page: “Thank you for your support in this difficult season.
We will bounce back stronger next year! #CFC”
