As Per Metro reports, earlier this week Chelsea have failed to agree on terms with Napoli over Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly after seen their £19.2m bid for rejected with the Serie A club demanding a fee in the range of £30m
New manager Antonio Conte has already set down his targets, and it is thought that Koulibaly remains on top of his wishlist.
Earlier this week defender has responded transfer speculations and confirmed that he is happy in Italy but refused to rule out the move to Stamford Bridge.
“I have not talked to [Antonio Conte] but that may be soon,” Koulibaly said.
