Chelsea receive major Alvaro Morata boost, transfer to be completed after Euro 2016

Chelsea are getting ever so close to signing Alvaro Morata after Juventus have started to look for his replacement, according to reports from Gazzetta dello Sports.

Serie A Champions are eyeing a move for Belgian duo Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke as they prepare for life after Morata.

According to Liverpool Echo, Juventus have agreed a £19m move for Benteke and are expected to announce his transfer soon after Euro 2016.

As for Morata, he now looks clear to join Chelsea following a reported £47million bid from Chelsea. However, the Spaniard will need to first join Real Madrid as Los Blancos are keen on activating his buy-back clause and then sell him for higher profit.

Incoming manager Antonio Conte is a big Morata fan and wants the 23-year old striker to join him at Stamford Bridge to be a key figure in his 3-5-2 set up.

Morata is currently the number one choice for Spain at Euro 2016 and has been in good form. He scored a brace against Turkey to further prove his potential and show why Chelsea are so eager to bring him to Premier League.

The Blues are certain of announcing the player’s transfer soon after Euro 2016 with Juventus looking for possible replacements following Alvaro Morata’s proposed move away from Serie A this summer.
