Manchester United have joined Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham in the race to sign highly-rated Galatasaray winger Bruma, Turkish reports state.
Bruma started out at Sporting Lisbon where he caught the eye as a teenager, earning himself a £8.5m move to Turkish football with Galatasaray in September 2013, but he’s failed to truly nail down a place in the side.
Along with London clubs, United are also being linked, where head-coach Jose Mourinho is a fan of the 21 year-old.
After their meeting in preseason, Bruma revealed: “He congratulated me for the performance and said he was impressed with me. He promised to closely monitor my work and said I could play for the national team soon.
“Of course it was amazing to hear this from Mourinho and he said he will keep an eye on how I do this season.”
Last term, Bruma joined Spanish outfit Real Sociedad on a season-long loan where he made 32 appearances in La Liga, netting just twice.
Despite struggles last year, the Portuguese speedster, who played at every international age level, is regarded as one of the brightest talents in European football. He made five appearances for Galatasaray this season and has had a hand in three goals.
