Charlie Austin makes first start: Southampton v Chelsea

Chelsea travel to Southamtpon this afternoon, looking to avenge the defeat they suffered at the hands of Saints last autumn, during the final throes of the Mourinho era.

Chelsea have found some good form of late under Guus Hiddink, and have put the risk of relegation to bed; that said, they remain glued to mid-table, stuck in 12th spot.

Hiddink keeps faith with John Obi-Mikel, who has been one of the most consistent performers for Chelsea since the turn of the year, with Nemanja Matic remaining rooted to the bench.

And after scoring his first senior goal for the club in the FA Cup win over Man City last weekend, Bertrand Traore wins a place on the bench for the Blues.

As for Saints, Charlie Austin gets his first start for the club since his January move from QPR.

Austin scored on his Southampton debut at Old Trafford, and now finally gets the chances to prove himself from the start.
