John Terry Offers to Pay For Funeral of 8-Year-Old Chelsea Fan Who Died of Leukaemia"

John Terry has offered to pay a the funeral costs of an 8-year-old Chelsea fan who died after a battle with Leukaemia.

According to the Cambridge News, Terry offered to stump up the total £1,600 costs of Tommi Miller’s burial ceremony after he was contacted by the lad’s family and friends on social media.

Tommi was an avid Blues supporter, and passed away on March 31 after a recent attempt to carry out a bone marrow transplant proved unsuccessful.

Terry was said to be one of his favourite players, and has met the club captain and some of his team-mates during visits to Stamford Bridge over the last few seasons.

Tommi’s funeral will take place this Thursday, with those attending asked to wear either Chelsea shirts or the Cambridge United strip to show Tommi’s passion for both clubs.

The service will also see 100 blue balloons released into the sky.

Well done, John. A seriously nice gesture.
