According to the reports from Italian Calciomercato, the Premier League champions Chelsea are still willing to sign Juventus talented forward Alvaro Morata despite the Blues failed to add any top-class strikers besides Alexandre Pato, who has joined the Stamford Bridge side on a loan from Brazilian outfit Corinthians.
The 23-year-old Morata has been sensational since joining Serie A giants from Real Madrid in 2014. The Spaniard has scored 20 goals in 74 appearances for the Old Lady since moving to Juventus Stadium.
The same sources claim that the Blues are keeping close tabs on Morata and are keen on signing the Spanish forward for the next season. With Diego Costa and Eden Hazard both misfiring a goalscorer is high on Chelsea’s shopping list this summer and Morata may be tempted by the London club.
It is believed that Morata could also be interested in moving to Premier League, as the playing time of the Spain international has been limited this season and he has made just eight starts in Serie A this season with Paulo Dybala providing the fire-power up front for Juventus.
Alongside with Chelsea, other London clubs are also keen to get the signature of former Real Madrid hitman, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, while Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp was reportedly ready to spend £45million to secure the services of talented Spaniard.
