Zola Chasing Terry Signature?

If, as some expect he will, John Terry calls time on his Chelsea career this May, with no dialect taking place relating to a new contract, I wouldn`t imagine, even at thirty-five years of age, there`d be a shortage of suitors for the centre-back.

In fact, if John hadn`t have already stated that he`s not prepared to join any other Premier League club, or European club, as he doesn`t want to play against Chelsea, I`d imagine every club in the Premier League would be willing to offer John a contract.

But our feeling is, if John does leave Stamford Bridge, he`ll play overseas for a couple of years, showcasing his talents in far more favourable climes than England at this time of the year.

One possible destination could be Qatar, where possibly the most skilful player to ever wear our blue shirt, Gianfranco Zola is currently working.

Our favourite Sardinian is currently managing Al-Arabi and aware that John, a former team-mate, could be available, Gianfranco has is quoted as having remarked to the media,

"We are talking about a big player, big name and I believe a player of this stature is not of interest only for the team but also the whole league.

"The Qatari league is a league that wants to grow bigger so there might be interest not only from Al Arabia but from all the Qatari league.

"He`s also been linked to the MLS and China."

Could Qatar, playing for the legend that is Gianfranco Zola, bee John`s next move?

We`d appreciate your views on the above subject matter.
