Chelsea are hoping to seal the transfer of Athletic Bilbao man Oscar de Marcos, reports say.
De Marcos, 26, is a major target for the club and has been regularly watched by Chelsea officials.
And they are convinced he’s the perfect replacement for Ramires, according to The Sun.
Ramires’s departure to China has left them quite short in midfield and Chelsea chiefs believe De Marcos could freshen up their side.
His high-energy game is seen to be ideal for English football and Chelsea are now ready to bring him to the Premier League.
