The German paper have together pieced together a short piece on how Gladbach’s best players could be moving to the Premier League this off-season.
Bild temper the iron-clad nature of their transfer update by throwing the word “likely” into the mix.
The Xhaka to Arsenal story is one of those rumours that is refusing to go away. The player, himself, has repeatedly stated his desire to leave the Bundesliga club to move to England, while Arsenal have been tipped to buy the midfielder for €43m.
It’s also been claimed that Arsene Wenger met with Xhaka’s father and agent to wrap up the deal.
Gladbach will make a huge profit on Xhaka, who they signed from Basel in 2012 for just £6.5m.
In the other updates in the Bild article, 19-year-old Danish defender Andreas Christensen is set to return to Chelsea, while Havard Nordtveit is joining West Ham.
On Christensen, he joined Gladbach on a two-year deal last summer after signing a new Chelsea contract until 2020.
But the Blues want him back after just a year and are planning talks with the Bundesliga side about bringing an early end to the agreement.
