Diego Costa, Fernando Torres and Hector Bellerin have missed out on the Spain Euro 2016 squad as voted for by Marca readers.
The Spanish newspaper asked their online readers to vote in a poll on who deserves to go to France in the summer.
And it is surprising to see the results, with their votes leading to a midfield-heavy Spain squad with just two recognised strikers in Alvaro Morata and Aritz Aduriz.
Chelsea striker Costa has had an inconsistent season for the club, scoring just four goals as the Blues struggled up until December.

But he’s got 11 goals in his last 16 games and Vicente del Bosque’s decision to ignore him for recent friendlies with Italy and Romania was surprising.
The same could be said for Torres and Bellerin missing out, as the former has rediscovered his form for Atletico Madrid while the latter has been a standout for Arsenal this term.
If it was up to Marca readers, they’d be happy to see all three miss out on the trip to France to defend their European Championship crown:

There’s also a place for Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla despite his current injury status, while Chelsea winger Pedro gets a spot despite failing to impress in his first season at Stamford Bridge.
