New Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to bring AS Roma stars Radja Nainggolan and Kostas Manolas to Chelsea this summer. Both players have always been linked with a move to Chelsea and with Conte now in charge of Chelsea, the Blues have a good chance of signing both. Reports claim the blues are ready to pay as much as £52 million to signing the Dutchman and the Greek.
With John Terry set to leave at the end of this season, Chelsea need another centre back and Kostas Manolas has been touted as a potential replacement for the former England internation.
Although he has been linked to Arsenal too with Arsene Wenger said to want the Greek international as a replacement for their 32-year-old captain Per Mertesacker but Chelsea will hope they can beat the Gunners to his signing.
Radja Nainggolan on the other hand is a Manchester United target. Chelsea sees him a worthy competition for Nemanja Matic who hasn’t been so impressive this season and With Mikel likely to be sold in the summer and Ramires sold in January to a Chinese club, signing the Dutchman would make a lot of sense. Arturo Vidal has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge recently but Chelsea have a better chance of signing Radja Nainggolan than they do Vidal.
Although United have also been linked with Nainggolan the presence of Conte who knows the Italian league well enough could work in favour of Chelsea. Both Radja Nainggolan and Kostas Manolas will reported Cost Chelsea as much as £52m in transfer fee with both players likely to command upward of £170,000 a week combined in wages.
