Chelsea new boss ready to finalise £33m transfer move for Argentina international

According to the reports from Daily Star, Chelsea are having active talks with League 1 giants PSG over the summer transfer move of their talented playmaker Javier Pastore, who has been rumoured with a possible move to Stamford Bridge for the recent times.

It is believed that the Argentina international is having ongoing discussions with the west Londoners about a possible summer switch.

The 26-year-old maestro, has become the most expensive signing of League 1 giants  when he was snapped up for £33m in 2011 from Serie a side Palermo. Since arriving in Paris, Pastore has been a standout performer for the French club.

During his time at Paris-Saint Germain, the midfielder has bagged four-consecutive league titles and a host of other domestic silverware. But despite the Blues’ negotiations with the midfield maestro, it understood that other European top clubs are also chasing for his signature, including Man City, Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Despite that Pastore has three years left on his current deal with PSG, the midfielder still considers the departure from Parce des Princes.

It’s thought he earns £80,000-per-week, but Chelsea could be tempted to splash the cash to ensure they get their man. Incoming manager Antonio Conte is reportedly willing to sacrifice Oscar to make room for a new attacking midfielder.
