Chelsea striker Alexandre Pato posts fans in duck masks
He may only have made one appearance and scored one goal since arriving at Stamford Bridge in January, but it seems Alexandre Pato has already become something of a cult hero among Chelsea fans.
Days after marking his long-awaited Premier League debut with a goal from the penalty spot in Chelsea's 4-0 win over Aston Villa, Pato posted a picture on Instagram of what appears to be two Chelsea supporters posing in comical duck masks.
Pato's real name is Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva but he is nicknamed 'the Duck' because he was born in Pato Branco, Brazil, and "Pato" means "Duck" in Portuguese.
Having waited 63 days to make his first Chelsea appearance after arriving on loan from Corinthians at the end of January, the 26-year-old will be hopeful of earning his first start and continuing his form against Swansea City on Saturday now that he has broken his duck.
