Cesc Fabregas headed to Stamford Bridge to support Chelsea’s next generation of stars on Wednesday night.
The Blues’s Under-18 side were in action in the FA Youth Cup final in west London and some of Chelsea’s first-team players were in attendance to cheer on the future of the defending Premier League champions.
Chelsea won 3-1 in the second leg to secure a 4-2 aggregate victory which means the Blues have now won the competition three years in a row and finished as winners in five of the last seven years.
Unfortunately, the club’s senior players were unable to replicate the success of their Under-18 team after Chelsea failed to defend their Premier League crown this term, resulting in Jose Mourinho’s sacking.
However, Fabregas made sure to attend Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night to watch the Chelsea Under-18 side continue their dominance in the FA Youth Cup and the midfielder posted the above selfie en route to the stadium.
