Falcao, Remy & Pato To Leave, Chelsea To Sign 36 Goals In 39 Games Striker

Radamel Falcao, Loic Remy and Alexandre Pato all Chelsea strikers are expected to leave the West London club this season as reported by the Mirror’s John Cross.

This means that Chelsea will be left with only Diego Costa as the club’s forward. While the likes of Patrick Bamford and Dominic Solanke are still Chelsea’s strikers, the chances of seeing them turn out for the West London side next season is highly remote. To this end it is believed that Chelsea are in the running to sign explosive Argentine and Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuian in the summer.

In coming Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte is desperate to sign a prolific striker which has made Argentine and Napoli legend, Diego Maradona to reveal that Higuain will be sold in the summer. Maradona said, “I know Aurelio De Laurentiis (Napoli President), and I think he will sell Higuain. Higuain gave his best to Napoli, I don’t think he can repeat this kind of form. We already saw it happen with Ezequiel Lavezzi. With the money he will earn, he will have to build a great team”.

Higuain was signed from Real Madrid for around £40 million in 2013 and will be available for around £70 million and it remains to be seen if the Stamford Bridge side will match that.

Personally, I do not think Higuain is worth £70 million but it will be nice if Chelsea can manage to pull off his signing at a reduced price. The Argentine has proved over the years that he is a very good striker. His records at Real Madrid was superb despite having to play second fiddle to Karim Benzema and with Napoli, he has bettered his previous record.

Also linked with a move to Manchester United and Arsenal, have the money it takes to beat the rest of the chasing pack to his signature and Antonio Conte’s influence in the Serie A could also be of great advantage.
