Chelsea hero Pat Nevin says they're undergoing a changing of the guard.

'It could be that this will be considered the season when the influence of the phenomenally successful group that had a truly world-class core of Cech, Terry , Lampard and Drogba finally faded. As I write we still hope that JT will be around, but replacing that lot was always going to be an incredibly hard job.
"Man United have struggled to replace Sir Alex Ferguson's main lieutenants and even if you look at current champions Leicester, how will they replace Vardy, Mahrez, Kante and Morgan when the time finally comes? It will be an expensive enough job for the Foxes, but consider how much it would cost to replace our famous backbone with upcoming players of that quality in the current market, even if those players were available and willing to come to Chelsea today. It would be a truly staggering figure; I reckon you wouldn't get much change out of £500 million."
