Chelsea ace Charly Musonda will spend next season on loan with Real Betis after the Blues agreed to extend the midfielder’s stay with the La Liga club.
The 19-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Betis, scoring one goal in 19 appearances.
The teenager, who can play in attacking midfield as well as on the wing, was keen to stay with Betis but the Blues have been contacted by a number of European clubs over getting the playmaker on loan.
However, Chelsea confirmed today on their official Twitter account that they had struck a deal with Betis to keep Musonda at the club for another 12 months.
