The NBA playoffs are in full swing and Chelsea's Player of the Year Willian is throwing his support behind defending champions Golden State Warriors and their "phenomenon" of an MVP point guard Steph Curry.
Willian is preparing with the rest of the Brazil squad for the centenary edition of the Copa America in the U.S this month, but still found time to travel to San Francisco to watch the Warriors defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder 96-88 in a thrilling game seven of the Western Conference finals at Oracle Arena on Monday.
Alongside an Instagram picture featuring Curry's arena introduction and shirt, Willian wrote: "On Monday I had the opportunity to watch the game of this guy that I'm a big fan! I really like NBA and always watch the games on TV, but to see that game at Oracle Arena was amazing. And Curry's performance was fantastic. He is a phenomenon! #NBA #gswarriors #Curry"
Willian isn't the first Chelsea player to take in some US sport this summer. Last month teammate Cesc Fabregas watched a Major League Baseball regular season game between the Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals at Marlins Park.
Fresh from winning the franchise's first NBA championship in 40 years last season, the Warriors set an historic 73-9 regular season record this year and will repeat as champions if they defeat LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the finals, which begin at Oracle Arena on Thursday.
Win or lose, it's clear that Curry & Co. could teach Chelsea a thing or two about how to mount a proper title defence ...
