Chelsea long-term target Jose Mauri is receiving interest from some top Premier League and European clubs, according to the Italian midfielder’s agent reports.
As Per Football Italia The 20-year-old has made only five appearances for Serie A giants Ac Milan since making the switch from Parma, but due to his talent he has been tipped to be one of the best young midfielders in Europe right now and hosts of clubs including Chelsea are interested in signing him.
Mauri was close to joining Stamford Bridge side during Jose Mourinho’s reign, but a deal has never happened.

Newly appointed Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s has also been an admirer of the 20-year old starlet and wanted to lure him to Stamford Bridge as soon as he joins the club.
The Italy Under-21 international’s agent confirmed interest for his client’s services.
“He wants to prove his worth by playing,” Dino Zampacorta is quoted as saying by Football Italia.
“Last year he had to make a huge effort before finding space, but in training, he behaved impeccably. He didn’t miss a single session.
“Could he leave? It’s impossible to say right now, as we don’t know anything about the situation at Milan, regarding who will be Coach or who will make the decisions.
“For now, though, there’s nothing significant.”
