The Leicester City midfielder was one of the stars of the Premier League last season, and has continued to impress with the French national team. The Foxes have apparently offered the 25-year-old a new contract worth £100,000-a-week in an attempt to retain his services, as they successfully did with Jamie Vardy, but Kante will reject the deal in order to join the Blues.
Transfer Probability: 3/5 – Although Chelsea could certainly offer higher wages than Leicester, there would be no European football next season, whereas Champions League would be guaranteed elsewhere. It also seems doubtful that Kante has made his decision yet, seeing as he’s currently playing in the Euros.

The 31-year-old French international has seen his career revitalised at the Stade Velodrome, prompting interest from a number of sides, including former team Chelsea. The Blues and United have both submitted formal offers for the star, as Marseille sell their main players to improve financial woes.

The Nigerian international centre-back has spent his entire senior career on loan, impressing with Super Lig side Kasimpasa last season. The 22-year-old has just two years remaining on his contract, but has yet to make an appearance for the Blues.
