Chelsea demand Mattia de Sciglio plus €10m for 29-year-old star

According to the latest transfer news from Italy, the Premier League giants Chelsea are demanding £8.7 million plus AC Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio for the services of attacking midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The reports from Italian Calciomercato claim that the 29-year-old Spaniard is one of AC Milan’s top targets for January transfer window, even if the Blues are willing to keep the experienced midfielder until the end of the season.

It is believed that Antonio Conte is keen to strengthen his options at full-back and is ready to sign Mattia De Sciglio, having managed the 23-year-old youngster with Italy’s national team.

The report also claim that a meeting will take place in the coming weeks in order for both clubs to arrange an agreement.

The former Arsenal captain has made just four Premier League appearances under the coaching of Antonio Conte this campaign and was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Hull City.

Alongside with Mattia De Sciglio, Antonio Conte is also considering the move for another Serie A defender, as Italian boss is desperately chasing for the signature of Juventus top-class centre-back Leonardo Bonucci, who has been linked with a departure from the Serie A giants.
