Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp claims Jose Mourinho has agreed a deal to become Manchester United manager this summer.
The 52-year-old is the hot favourite to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford with the Dutchman looking certain to be sacked by United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
The Dutchman was tasked with bringing the Premier League title back to the Theatre of Dreams during his three-year deal at the club but the Reds look unlikely to make the top four during the 64-year-old’s second season in the north-west.
Mourinho has remained tight-lipped on the rumours that he’s spoken to the club but he is believed to be keen to take over and Redknapp claims he’s been told the deal is done.

‘It hasn’t worked out at all for Louis van Gaal at Manchester United,’ said Redknapp.
‘It’s been a disaster for him – no doubt about that.
‘From the people I know who are in the know, Jose Mourinho to United is a done deal.’
