The international break may mean a pause in all of the world's major leagues, but that doesn't mean there is no football worth watching.
With so many games to choose from, it is sometimes difficult to figure out which matches to focus your attention on.
Premier League teams are plotting their summer moves and will be watching their targets over the break.
Why not join them with Sportsmail's guide to the matches featuring players likely to move to the English top flight in the summer:
Zlatan Ibrahimovic might finally be making his way to the Premier League, judging by reports in the press over the last few months. He is a key figure for the Swedish national side, but has been given permission not to travel for the friendly against Turkey this week. Ibrahimovic could still feature against the Czech Republic. Even though he impressed greatly against Chelsea in the Champions League, international fixtures remain a better indication than the barely competitive Ligue 1 of whether the 34-year-old is still at the right level to move to the English top flight.

Reports on Tuesday suggested that Arsenal are stepping up their interest in the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder. The 23-year-old has been heavily watched by chief scout Steve Rowley, with preliminary discussions taking place over a deal. Xhaka was once called a ‘young Schweinsteiger’ by Ottmar Hitzfeld, and is considered to be the complete modern midfielder. The match against the Republic of Ireland, a team that have qualified for the Euros, should be a perfect stage for Xhaka to show his ability against a traditionally styled team with plenty of Premier League players in their ranks.

Arturo Vidal had a great relationship with Antonio Conte at Juventus and the duo may look to link up again at Stamford Bridge this summer. His national side, Chile, are currently fifth in the CONMEBOL qualifiers for the World Cup, which would qualify them for the play-offs but not the tournament proper. Argentina will provide a stern test of Vidal’s ability, although Lionel Messi’s side have struggled to put together consistent results so far in qualification.

There is little doubt that Paul Pogba is ready for Premier League football next season, but for those who have managed to avoid watching one of the best midfielders in world football, the games against the Netherlands and Russia provide an ideal opportunity to see what the 23-year-old is all about. Conte would also be his manager if he moved to Chelsea next season, which means the two games are a chance to see how the Italy chief would use him.

Edinson Cavani was so popular at Napoli that a fans group recorded a song in tribute to him to the tune of Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’, but his opportunities at Paris Saint-Germain have been incredibly limited. The international stage tends to be the best indication of whether Cavani is the same striker that tore defences in Serie A apart, which makes the games against Brazil and Peru important for any clubs watching him. Uruguay, currently second, could cement themselves in a good position in qualification with two wins, which would rely on Cavani being at his best.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen has rarely featured in the league for Barcelona since joining them in summer 2014, although he does play in every cup competition, including the Champions League. The German goalkeeper seems to have reached breaking point and wants more first team football. Unfortunately for him, Manuel Neuer is first choice for Germany too, but it would not be a surprise to see Joachim Low take a look at his other goalkeeping options ahead of the European Championships. Ter Stegen will undoubtedly have scouts watching him if he plays against England.
Teams interested in signing him: Liverpool, Manchester United
Mario Gotze is another player targeted by Premier League sides who will undoubtedly not be happy with his domestic lot this season, having played only eight times in the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich this season. Like Ter Stegen, Gotze would be an ideal position to interest any English scouts if he plays against the national team on Saturday in Berlin. The attacking midfielder is the sort of player Liverpool have been missing, and with Jurgen Klopp having played such a key role in the development of his career, a reunion could be in order.

The Polish international is a relative unknown in the United Kingdom, but he is one of Klopp’s two key targets for his rebuild of Liverpool’s squad in the summer. The 21-year-old has impressed hugely on loan at Empoli from Udinese over the last two seasons, and seems likely to be another success story from the Pozzo Family’s scouting network. Zielinski plays best in the centre of midfield but can also operate on the flanks or behind a striker. The midfielder plays 1.53 key passes per 90 minutes of action, a rate better than Liverpool’s creative hub Philippe Coutinho. He is worth a watch in either of Poland’s games.
Teams interested in signing him: Liverpool
Renato Sanches has been watched by scouts from Manchester United in recent times, and they will undoubtedly have been interested by his first call-up to the Portugal national team for the games against Bulgaria and Belgium. The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the most talented young prospects in Europe, but with limited first team experience for Benfica, international action would be a good opportunity to see whether he is ready for the Premier League. The Old Trafford club made their move for Anthony Martial only days after his first call-up. Sanches’ involvement may provide them with another indication that it is time to make a move.

Gabon will be hoping that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is available for their double header against Sierre Leone in Africa Cup of Nations qualification. After all, the Borussia Dortmund striker scored in their only victory of the qualifying process thus far, a 4-0 win against Sudan which sent them to the top of group I. However, Aubameyang recently had to pull out of a Dortmund game due to a bereavement and it is unclear whether he will be involved in either game. The 26-year-old has already scored 22 goals for Dortmund in the Bundesliga this season and is being targeted by some of the Premier League's bigger teams.

Milan Badelj has been linked with a move to Tottenham after his agent fell out with Fiorentina over unpaid commission. The 27-year-old has been spoken about in the same terms as former Spurs star and compatriot Luka Modric, as good a player to be compared to as any. Badelj has impressed hugely in the deep-lying playmaker role this season, and games against Israel and Hungary, two of the weaker sides in Europe, will be fine matches for him to stamp his creative authority on.
