Chelsea midfield star Cesc Fabregas has thanked the Blues fans for all their support during a tough Premier League season and promised that they’ll bounce back next term.
The Stamford Bridge club were unable to defend their Premier League title as Sunday’s opponents Leicester City won the crown for the first time in their history.
Roman Abramovich’s side were unable to become the first club to beat the champions on Sunday afternoon, after the Foxes midfielder after Danny Drinkwater rescued a 1-1 draw for Claudio Ranieri’s side.
The Blues finished a staggering 31 points behind the Premier League leader despite winning their fourth EPL title just 12 months ago under Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho.
The 29-year-old Fabregas has been one of the west London side’s best players, particularly in the second half of the season under Guus Hiddink.
And the Spain international took to Twitter to reflect on Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Leicester at the end of the Premier League season.
