Chelsea vs. Leicester: Courtois and Ivanovic start in Hiddink’s final game

Guus Hiddink has named a strong team in his final match in charge of Chelsea against the recently-crowned Premier League champions Leicester City.

The 20-year-old Burkina Faso forward Bertrand Traore is one of the Blues players to have made a solid contribution under Hiddink and he will lead the line in the absence of Diego Costa.

In defence, Branislav Ivanovic will deputise for John Terry who is serving the second match of his two-game suspension following his red card against Sunderland last weekend.

Thibaut Courtois is also handed a recall in goal after completing his suspension, coming into the side in place of Asmir Begovic.

Claudio Ranieri, meanwhile, has selected a strong starting XI as he bids to win at Stamford Bridge for the first time since his sacking in 2004.

The January signing from Birmingham City, Demarai Gray, is handed a rare start on the flanks while a change in system is also on the cards as Leicester will line up in a 4-5-1 system.
 

Danny Drinkwater is back in the side following his suspension and he lines up alongside the in-form Andy King and N’Golo Kante in central midfield.

Jamie Vardy, meanwhile, is bidding to end the season with the golden boot as he currently trails his England colleague Harry Kane by one goal going into the final day of the season.

Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat against Leicester City in December was Jose Mourinho’s last game in charge of the club.
