Leicester (h) - The Views of Guus Hiddink

Today, the Stamford Bridge faithful bid Guus Hiddink a fond farewell.

The Dutchman has completed his tenure as our interim manager and departs to be replaced, in July, by Antonio Conte.

Talking to the media after yet another draw, Guus had this to say,

'It was a typical end of the season game where there was nothing at stake. We were sloppy after the penalty and they got the equaliser.

'Until December, there were big worries as the club were one point away from the relegation zone.

"My first task was to get away from that and in two months we were out. As a second target, we wanted to go further and get to the top-four.

'As long as the youngsters don't say, hey grandad it's time to go, I still want to carry on."

And on the future of John Terry, the Dutchman further added,

'John Terry and the club are in contact and that is good. We must not rock the boat. In Holland we say, don't disturb the hen that is sitting on the egg.'

Once again Guus, thanks for coming to our rescue, your second spell as interim boss might not have been as successful as your first spell but you certainly steadied the ship.
