Chelsea skipper, John Terry, backs Jose Mourinho for joining Manchester United this summer. John Terry has wished him luck to succeed at Old Trafford with the Red Devils and also mentioned him as the best coach that he has worked with. He was happy that the Portugese was back in the English Premier Legue.
After the FA Cup final win at Wembley, Louis Van Gaal was sacked with immediate effect and the Portugeses Jose Mourinho was signed as the club’s manager with greater aspirations. The supporters also believe in him and hopes that he succeeds at the club during his tenure despite the rants against him during his Chelsea days.
John Terry was almost on his way out of Chelsea and might have gone to MLS following Lampard, Drogba and Gerrard, if the club had not offered him a contract extension. John Terry was happy with the opportunity to play for the Blues for another year and wearing the armband.

I’m sure that United’s fans and players will be delighted with that because, as I’ve said many times before, he’s the best manager I’ve worked under,” he said.
Terry was not happy about the ending of Jose Mourinho saga at Stamford Bridge and mentioned that event as an unfortunate ending of a great career. “It was unfortunate the way it ended at Chelsea this year but I wish him well because he’s also a great man. He’ll be great for Manchester United, I’m sure,” he added.
Despite being the rival team manager, John Terry believes that Jose Mourinho will have warm welcome when he visits the Stamford Bridge. But he is also looking for the title this season.

“It’ll feel very different. I’ve come up against Jose for various teams before so it will be interesting.He’ll get a great reception when he comes back to Stamford Bridge, for sure. First and foremost we have to look at ourselves this year and fight for the title,” Terry added.
He believes that Jose Mourinho will do a great job with Ryan Giggs in his side. “I’m sure he’ll settle in well with the likes of Ryan Giggs – hopefully he’ll stay and support him as well,” Terry added.
Only time will tell if we can see Mourinho succeeding at Old Trafford or not. But one thing is certain, with Klopp, Mourinho and Guardiola in the EPL we will certainly have many great press conferences to remember.
