Chelsea set to start talks with Atletico Madrid to sell speedy winger"

La Liga giants are reportedly plotting a huge deal to land Chelsea midfielder Juan Cuadrado from under the noses of Juventus.

Juventus are keen to sign their on-loan winger on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

It is believed incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is also considering keeping Cuadrado at Stamford Bridge.

However reports in Spain claim both clubs could miss out if Atletico push for a move.

As the Spnihs outlet Marca, La Liga side Atletico have been impressed by the 27-year-old’s performances of late and are willing to spend big to bring him to Spain.

The Blues seems to be willing to at least listen to offers even if Conte, 46, decides in the end to keep him.

Colombian winger managed just four starts in the six months he endured at Chelsea last season before being shipped off to Juve last summer.

He has made 24 Serie A appearances for the league leaders this season, having previously played in Italy for Fiorentina.

Marca suggest the good relationship Chelsea have with Atletico could see a deal struck, with Juventus frozen out.

Chelsea are understood to be on good terms with their Madrid counterparts after signing Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa from the Vicente Calderon, while full-back Filipe Luis was allowed to transfer back to Spain after just a year in the Premier League.

Serie A side’s officials were reportedly in London last month to try and strike a deal over Cuadrado but Chelsea are holding out for Conte’s verdict.
