Chelsea New Summary: Lukaku’s message, Juventus defender on radar, Kwadwo Asamoah close to Stmaford Bridge move

Chelsea are on the verge to agree terms with Kwadwo Asamoah

According to the reports from Italy, Premier League giants Chelsea have reached a Verbal agreement to sign Serie A champions Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah in the summer transfer window.

Ghana international star Asamoah has made 106 appearances for Juve since signing from Serie A club Udinese back in 2012 but the 27-year-old is now being heavily tipped to move to Stamford Bridge after failing to establish himself under Massimiliano Allegri this term.

According to Calcio, Mercato Web reports Italian manager Antonio Conte, who will join Chelsea after Euro 2016 is looking to sign up his former player with the deal thought to be on the cards.

Chelsea are expected to complete the deal after negotiations have accelerated over the last few days.

It’s Believed that Chelsea Russian owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to pay up to £20million for Juventus midfielder.

Meanwhile, Brazilian clubs Santos attacking midfielder Lucas Lima has gone on to state that he is eager to the play in Europe and Premier League giants Chelsea is one of his preferred clubs Globo Esporte.

Ex-Premier League champions may have endured a terrible 2015/16 campaign and after Antonio Conte’s arrival at Stamford Bridge promises big changes for the upcoming campaign and Lima with his creativity in the Midfield area could be an ideal replacement for his compatriot Oscar, who has been linked with a move to Serie A champions Juventus.

Romelu Lukaku message to Chelsea: "I’m among the best in the world"

Former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku who has been linked with the return to Stamford Bridge for reported £50m fee has sent the message to European giants that are keen on to sign him admitting that he’s one of the best forwards in world football.

The Belgian is likely to leave Merseyside Blues this summer after admitting he felt it was time to ‘challenge for trophies‘ in his career.

Belgium international has joined Toffees in a £28.5million deal back in 2014, and the Merseysiders can expect to command a fee more than £50m should they sell their star striker this summer.

2014/15 Premier League champions Manchester United and Chelsea are both interested in signing the forward, and Belgian star insisted that he’d be worth the fee as he is one of the best in the world and Chelsea or any other club should break the bank if they want to sign him.

‘I’m among the best [in the world],’ claimed Lukaku.

‘Personally, I am very happy.

‘I did expect to produce a season of this calibre.’

Lukaku netted 25 times in 48 appearances for Everton last term.

Chelsea in advanced talks with Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner

According to The Times. Reports Premier League giants Chelsea are in advanced talks with Juventus versatile defender Stephan Lichtsteiner this summer.

Chelsea already have quality full-back Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicuetta in that position, but could arguably use Serbian at centre-back as he looked to have lost a yard of pace last term.

The Swiss international defender will be available due to the imminent signing of Barcelona star Dani Alves, who has been on the verge to make the switch to Serie A champions within weeks.

The Blues have also been in the market for Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, who has been identified as a replacement Belgian superstar Thibaut Courtois whose future remains up in air.

This follows rumoured the Blues interest in the likes of Belgian ace Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Rudiger at AS Roma who has just signed the new deal, though this interest is yet to amount to anything concrete.

Swiss international star was a top performer for Italian manager Conte during their time together at Serie A champions Juventus, however, and could be a smart signing for the west Londoners.
