Confirmed Belgium team news against Norway: Nainggolan, Hazard and Lukaku all start

Belgium captain Eden Hazard starts against Norway in their final friendly before the European Championships.

In the absence of Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany it is Hazard who will lead the team in the Euros, off the back of a disappointing campaign for Chelsea.

He is joined in the team by two targets for Chelsea, Radja Nainggolan and former Blue Romelu Lukaku.

The pair have both been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge this summer, as new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte looks to make changes to his team.

Elsewhere Hazard’s Chelsea team-mate Thibaut Courtois starts in goal, whilst Dries Mertens joins Hazard and Lukaku in attack.

Axel Witsel and Kevin de Bruyne are in the midfield alongside Nainggolan whilst Lukaku’s brother Jordan starts at left-back.

Tottenham Hotspur duo Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen both start at centre-back together, with Jason Denayer now moving out to right-back.

Belgium have won one and drawn one of their two warm-up games so far, and many fans remain unconvinced that this team will able to function as a unit despite the immense individual talent.

They will face Italy, the Republic of Ireland and Sweden in their group at the Euros, one of the more difficult groups in the tournament.
