The Blues head into the game looking to bounce back from their recent poor run of form after defeats by Liverpool and Arsenal in the Premier League.
Antonio Conte’s men came in for criticism last weekend as they were thoroughly outplayed by Arsene Wenger’s men at The Emirates during a 3-0 defeat by Arsenal.
The west London side have had a whole week to digest the disappointment of their recent losses as they prepare for their clash against Hull City.
And former Liverpool striker Owen is tipping the Blues to claim victory over the Tigers this weekend and relieve some of the early pressure on new boss Conte.
Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: “Hull have never beaten Chelsea in the PL and I can’t see them bucking that trend despite the fact that Antonio Conte’s side have had a reality check in recent games, with Liverpool and Arsenal, after an encouraging start to the season.
“It could be a case of back to basics for the west London side at Hull with three points absolutely imperative if they are to mount a realistic title challenge.”
