Chelsea star Eden Hazard has officially ruled out a move away from the club this summer to Paris Saint-Germain, whom he’s been tirelessly linked with, in an interview with Telefoot, according to Goal.
Hazard has constantly been linked with a move away from Chelsea to either Real Madrid or PSG over the past few seasons, and this summer is no different. However, those rumours are now squashed, at least for now.
The winger has suggested that a move away from Chelsea may still be on the cards, but not for a while. A season consisting of a trophyless 10th place finish is clearly not the note that Hazard wants to leave the club on.
He told Telefoot:
I have a contract until 2020. I don’t want to finish like this. If I have to leave, I must do it like a boss, like I did in Lille.
Finally, he rejected an approach from the French giants.
PSG are not among my projects right now.
Hazard is currently preparing for Euro 2016 with his Belgian teammates, where they will be taking on Italy in their first match on 12th June.
My dream is to reach the semi-finals against France, and if we win there’s no reason we can’t win the final.
